President Mutharika Appoints A Commission Of Inquiry In ADMARC Maize Procurement Saga
Malawi President Arthur Peter Mutharika has appointed a Commission of Inquiry on the procurement of maize by the grain board ADMARC from Zambia.
In a press statement made available to our publication. The appointments are in accordance to Inquiries Act Section 2(1) and the Malawi Constitution in Section 89 (1) (g).
The Commission is comprising of Justice Anastazia Msosa who will be the Chair,Isaac Kayira who is a public Auditor , Dr Janet Banda who is the Solicitor General and both are Members then finally,Mike Chinoko – who will be the Secretary to the Commission
Their appointments are with effect from 1st January 2017 and the commission is expected to present their findings to the President by January 31, 2017.
